We continued to
develop our self-assessment of our own work by checking the criteria on the
board and discussing what we noticed and making suggestions on how to improve
our work. Sometimes just a simple question was all that we needed to have us re-evaluate
our work. The work we continued today was started yesterday as we explored the
use of warm and cool tones to create fall leaves. We each had two quarters of a
leaf design and our work will be but just a small piece in a larger display. We
continued to explore and transform 2D shapes into 3D shapes and look for real
world examples. It was noticed that the face of a 3D object was that of a 2D
shape. We briefly introduced vertices, edges and faces/bases. Reminder no
school tomorrow!
