Exploring
the book, The Greedy Triangle we
transformed the triangle into a variety of different shapes using toothpicks
and marshmallows. As the story unfolded, Triangle became tired of being just a
triangle and wanted to be something more such as a quadrilateral, pentagon,
hexagon and an octagon to name a few. The interesting part was all the real
world examples of where the different shapes are seen and used everyday. Due to
the rainy weather during our physical education class, we played Ultimate
Beanbag in the gym. We really worked on passing and strategies to move the
beanbag down the floor. We continued practicing logging on and navigating the Internet
to familiarize ourselves with the computer in preparation for our Student
Learning Assessments. Everyone was successfully able to access the computer and
the practice questions.
