Today
we met all the staff during our first assembly. We listened to the story The Three Questions by Jon Muth.
Mr. Dyck talked about the three questions: When is the best time to do things?
Who is the most important one? What is the right thing to do? In class we
discussed the school values: Have Heart.
Helpfulness
Empathy
Acceptance
Responsibility
Truthfulness
We
created a page in our creative journal to represent these values.
Our
class demonstrated helpfulness by volunteering to put away the chairs after the
assembly. In Physical Education class we have been working on cooperative
activities and games that require minimal equipment. This week we played BUMP,
Burpee ball, Caboose tag, and Crows and Cranes. Tomorrow is Fit Friday! We
wonder what that might involve.
