Mindful Monday,

We started our day by
reading books of our own choice that we brought from home. Some of our books were nonfiction and others
were fiction books. It was wonderful to see the variety of interests in our
class. Afterwards we completed our self-portrait with unique letters formed from everyday objects. During physical education, we started with a new unit
Ultimate Frisbee. Today the game Ultimate Beanbag focused on catching and
throwing, but then we had to develop our team strategy. It took many tries
before we started to move the beanbag down the field. During the afternoon we
went over computer guidelines and had to login and change our passwords. We
explored our identity and researched specific countries through a variety of
images, which we saved to a Word document.
Did you know that
this week we will be sending home information about the SLA’s? Just a reminder
students are encouraged to bring headphones to school in a clearly marked
Ziploc bag to use with the computers and for the SLA’s.
