Working right away in
partners we created sorting rules with the shapes from yesterday for the other groups. The
sorting rules required us to discuss what we observed and then we had to figure out the rule.
We discovered that some of us had the same sorting rule. In physical education
today, it was an energetic game of Long Ball as we moved the ball up and down the
field. After Long Ball, we continued to hear the adventures of Milo and how he continues to work towards being perfect. His latest and last challenge seemed a little easy. He had
to do nothing. We wrote about his adventure with nothing in our journals. In the
afternoon we explored shape art with a focus on warm and cool tones and
different shapes. We developed our criteria so that we could check our work. It
was a busy day and we ended the day with an activity outside. Tomorrow is early
dismissal at 11:30 am.
