From transforming 2D
shapes to 3D solids, to exploring famous buildings and structures to planning a
trip. We were very busy as we continued to reinforce our learning about
vertices, edges and faces in real world examples. In the morning we worked on
the SLA Literacy Performance Task. We were asked to plan a trip to anywhere or
time that we wanted. It involved planning out our ideas, writing about our trip
and then self-assessing how we thought we did. Our writing was to include
specific details and strong vocabulary word choices to share our ideas with the
reader. We were given criteria to check our work. Friday is “Toonies for Terry”
as we take part in the Terry Fox run in the afternoon. We will also be starting
Raz Kids this week.
